It builds urban partnership networks to unite governments, enterprises, research bodies and social organizations in sustainable urban governance, explores eco-transformation paths suited to Asian cities, and improves urban environment and residents’ well-being
Blue Sky Initiative
APECA focuses on air pollution control and coordinated carbon reduction, advancing regional air quality cooperation mechanisms. It conducts pollution monitoring exchanges, promotes clean energy and eco-friendly transport, and launches environmental education campaigns to build a joint regional air governance model. It also encourages youth and public participation to boost recognition and practical action for low-carbon lifestyles and green consumption
Wetland Protection
APECA strengthens cooperation on safeguarding key wetland ecosystems in the region, protecting migratory bird corridors, restoring river and lake habitats and managing coastal wetlands.
